  • Hard hats
  • Safety glasses
  • Protective gloves
  • Construction steel toe work boots
  • Safety vests
  • Fall protection and ear plugs (when necessary) for relevant projects

Certifications

Metro Concrete Scanning employees have two critical OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety certifications.

Aerial lifts are essential tools for workers who must perform tasks at height. They provide a safe way of accessing hard-to-reach areas, minimizing the risk of falls and other accidents. The reliability and safety of aerial lifts depend on proper maintenance and use, which is why it’s vital to follow a regular maintenance program and have certified employees operating them.

OSHA Scissor Lift Certification

Our technicians have completed the scissor lift certification course which provides instruction for functionality and safe use. This course aims to optimize safety for operators and for everyone on the job site. Our employees are required to renew their certification every three years to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the equipment.

OSHA Boom Lift Certification

Boom lift certification for both telescopic and articulating booms requires between 20 and 40 hours of training, practical skills demonstrations, and successful completion of written examinations. As with scissor lifts, this certification must be renewed every three years to maintain a continued knowledge of the equipment.
